From a Chrysalis to a Butterfly
These feelings I have are so new to me,
I feel like a Butterfly that has been a Chrysalis forever.
Now all at once I am alive, I can see what was meant for me.
There is now purpose for being.
You have made this so, you entered my life,
my mind and soul and colour my world with sweet sounds.
You danced through my thoughts and meandered
in the deepest corners of my dreams.
You touched my hand and instantly
the sun shines.
I am not feared by losing you, as already
you have given me a lifetime of love.
So if tomorrow we part then I can feast
the rest of my days on the love
you have given me thus far.
How could this be more perfect?
