Today it's Father's Day

Papa, today is Father's Day,
You are now far far away.
But really would you want
To live in this world of hatred
In which in the 21st Century
People still judge on the colour of the skin?

For you, be they yellow, black, or white
You only saw the sun shining in their eyes.
And for this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart
Papa.

For you, far away lands have kept their mystery,
A kind of wisdow, an opening on the other world.
Is it so bad not to have the same religion,the same ideas?
Today, no need of the Esperanto,
There are millions of interpreters
But the Tower of Babel is climbing higher and higher
And we understand one another less and less...

Thanks to you, I understood all this Papa
And in my turn, I try to pass on your message of peace
To the future generation.
But they do not have the time to listen
They hardly have the time to live.

Knowing how to stop on one's life,
Trying to understand
Oh it does not change the mad course of the world
But at least this helps to realise
That we would live in the best possible world
If The Human-Animal could forget that it lives
Only to dominate and oppress
Those who do not think as It does.

Humans you used to say are worse than toads
But the toad did not choose its skin
He would probably have preferred
the softer skin of the cute little frog...

I miss you terribly Papa
We would bave so much to say
And I still have so much to learn.
But for all I know
For all this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart
Papa.

C'est aujourd'hui ta fête

Mon Petit Papa, c'est aujourd'hui ta fête,
La fête de tous les Papas.
Tu n'es plus là sans doute
Mais voudrais-tu encore
Vivre dans ce monde de colère
Où au 21ème siècle
On juge encore les gens sur la couleur de leur peau?

Pour toi, qu'ils soient jaunes, noirs, ou blancs
Tu ne voyais que le soleil qui brille dans leurs yeux.
Et pour cela je te remercie du fond du coeur
Mon Petit Papa

Pour toi, les terres lointaines ont gardé leur mystère,
Une certaine sagesse, un regard sur un autre monde.
Est-ce si grave de ne pas avoir la même religion, les mêmes idées?
Plus besoin de l'Esperanto aujourd'hui,
Il y a des millions d'interprètes
Mais la Tour de Babel monte de plus en plus haut
Et on se comprend de moins en moins...

Grâce à toi j'ai compris tout cela mon Petit Papa
Et à mon tour j'essaie de transmettre ton message de paix
Aux générations à venir.
Mais ils n'ont pas le temps d'écouter
Ils ont à peine le temps de vivre.

Savoir s'arrêter sur sa vie,
Essayer de comprendre
Oh ça ne change pas la course folle du monde
Mais au moins c'est prendre conscience
Que l'on vivrait dans le meilleur des mondes
Si l'homme oubliait un peu qu'il existe
Pour dominer et opprimer
Ceux qui ne pensent pas comme lui.

L'homme disais-tu est plus vil que le crapaud
Mais le crapaud n'a pas choisi sa peau
Il préférerait peut-être celle bien plus douce
de la grenouille...

Tu me manques terriblement Mon Petit Papa
Nous aurions tant à nous dire
J'ai encore tant à apprendre.
Mais pour tout ce que je sais
Pour tout cela, je te remercie du fond du coeur
Mon Petit Papa.
