Une Maman
C'est tout l'amour du monde
Dans un tout petit coeur
Qui bat pour ses enfants
Qu'ils soient petits
Ou qu'ils soient grands,
Qu'ils soient tout prêts
Ou qu'ils soient loin.
Ma Maman à moi elle a 79 ans
Et pourtant
Elle est aussi jeune qu'à 20 ans.
Ma Maman à moi
Elle est toujours aussi jolie
Car elle n'a jamais oublié de sourire
Malgré les sacrifices
Et les jours de tristesse.
Ma Maman à moi
C'est la plus belle du monde.
Et pourtant je ne sais pas
La serrer fort contre mon coeur
Pour lui dire combien je l'aime
Mais Ma Maman à moi
Elle seule sait que je l'aime
Car il n'y a qu'une Maman
Qui peut savoir ces choses-là.
A Mum,
It's all the love of the world
In such a little heart
Beating for her children
Be they small,
Be they grown-up,
Be they nearby,
Be they far away.
My Mum, she's 79
But she's as young as she was at 20!
My Mum is so pretty
Because she never forgot to smile
Despite the sacrifices
And the days of sorrow.
My Mum is the most beautiful Mum
But I forgot how to hold her near my heart
And I dont know any more how to tell her
How much I love her.
But my Mum is the only one
Who knows that I love her
Because
Only a Mum knows those things
With all my heart,
